Foster Farms a 2 billion fully-integrated food company is currently recruiting for an experienced Merchandiser. The position will be responsible for price discovery, market intelligence, merchandising, communicating with suppliers and customers to gather price and availability information to set sales price. Be involved with oil and animal protein origination activity, contract product with suppliers, in-bound and out-bound logistics, scheduling and inventory management. Grain Accounting, period end activity, and analyze P/L information.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications, BA/BS degree; prefer either Business or Agriculture, three-five years sales merchandising experience and sales experience in rendered products preferred. Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills and have demonstrated problem solving/resolution skills and have ability to act independently and develop business opportunities. Commodity Sales and Marketing Manager

Foster Farms a 2 billion fully-integrated food company is currently recruiting for a dynamic Commodity Sales and Marketing Manager. The position will manage the Marketing and Merchandising of Feed Products through eight sales representatives to include marketing, sales, pricing and product development for liquid feeds and product development for vitamin, mineral products and for brokerage and consignment products including outside brokers. Will communicate with Vice President of Commodities on all operation, marketing and development and administer company policies and supervise personnel. Develop new business opportunities and products and be the resident resource for feed ingredients to the Livestock Industry in California and the West, some trade show conferences and travel required.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications, B.S. in Animal Science or Nutrition, Agricultural Business, Business, advanced degree useful but not required; Purchasing and processing experience in feed industry and knowledge of Rendering or Fat Industry. Must have sales and marketing management experience and be able to lead, manage and evaluate supervisor and employees and have strong human resource skills. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal and managerial skills. Good mathematical background, analytical skills and possess proficient computer skills. Pacific Elements, Heartland Grains & Milling, and Prairie Flower Trucking are now under common ownership. This business consolidation has created the need for a controller to manager the administration, accounting and finances of each business unit and to optimize synergies as a consolidated business group. The controller will assist management and members in the day to day operation of the business with oversight over accounting and internal controls of the company. The controller will work in conjunction with Tim Byers, CPA of Byers Accountancy Corporation to provide accurate and timely financial reporting and to influence optimal profitability as a result of the controller’s sound business decisions and management.

New, Model F12736 Essmueller bucket elevator with a 95 foot discharge height. It includes a 40 HP TEFC 3 PH, 230/460 V, 60 HZ, 1760 RPM with 324 T Frame. The system is complete with safety cage and ladder.

New, Scott Equipment Company Pit Eliminator drag conveyor.
It is 22.5 feet in overall length with a 17' 4" centerline inlet and discharge.

This equipment was purchased new in 2004 but was never installed and is ready to ship.
