Golf Tournament on the Royal Course at Kaanapali Golf Club
The annual golf tournament will be held at The Royal Kaanapali Course. They opened their lush fairways in 1962, offering 6,700 yards and a par 71 course. The course is one of only two courses in all of Hawaii designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. who took advantage of the rolling landscape to create gently sloping fairways and large contoured greens to ensure a challenging approach to each hole. The Royal Kaanapali Course begins at sea level and runs along the shoreline before winding its way to the West Maui Mountain foothills. The 449 yard 18th hole plays longer than it looks, and hugging the water canal the entire length of the fairway and green, makes it a memorable last hole. The tournament ends with the group lunch, awards and prizes.
